Teaching Materials

I teach at Chapman University, Fowler School of Law. In my area of specialization, high-tech and IP law, I have taught Intellectual Property Law, Internet Law, Entertainment Law (both domestic and international), International Intellectual Property, and an Advanced Seminar in Copyright Law. I have taught all the 1L common law courses: Contracts, Property, and Torts. I have also taught a Law and Economics Seminar, Agency, Partnership, and Unincorporated Business Organizations, and Corporations.

During the 2000-01 academic year, I taught at the University of San Diego School of Law as a visiting professor. I began my teaching career at the University of Dayton School of Law, where I taught primarily within the Program in Law and Technology. Throughout my teaching career, I have also had the pleasure of teaching students about principles of liberty through the auspices of the Institute for Humane Studies. You can find some IHS-related materials here.
